Nunavik Biosciences, a Canadian company that's a subsidiary of Makivik Corporation, promotes startup companies to stimulate the Inuit economy and community, notably in researching and developing the maritime and terrestrial natural resources of the northern region of Quebec. Algae and plants enter into the formulation of the cosmetics lines such as Ungava, launched in May 2010 online. Using algae rich in vitamin E (thanks to 22 hours of daily sunshine throughout the summer) and omega 3s. It's enough to develop a very hydrating, anti-age concept with anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties, at a price range of between €60 and €90.
